Privacy Promise
Cutting to the chase, Money Education™ does not and will not publish, sell, rent, lend, lease, lose, abuse or misuse any information that you provide while visiting and using our website.
If you want to read the details of that promise and how we protect your data, here it is:
This privacy policy sets out how Money Education uses and protects any information that you give when you use this website. Money Education is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Money Education may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. However, we think we got it right the first time so we’re not looking to change anything in the foreseeable future or to slip devious little changes in unnoticed. We will notify you in advance of any changes we are planning on making and why, however small. Regardless, in case you provided us with an intentionally bogus e-mail, check this page whenever you’re in the mood to ensure that you are happy with any changes that may have occurred which we were unable to tell you about in advance. This policy is effective from January 1, 2013.

- Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or Money Education offers
What we do with the information we collect
We use this information to better understand who you are and what your needs and priorities are in order to try and provide you with better information and service. It only makes sense. Also for the following reasons:
- Internal record keeping. We’re CPAs and CFP professionals, so compulsively sound record-keeping is in our genes. It’s not our fault.
- Quality customer information is the basis on which we improve our products and services. So, we may occasionally use the information to contact you by e-mail or mail for market research purposes.
- We will periodically send e-mails about new financial and CFP-related products, special offers, legal and regulatory updates, Money Tips or other information most financial professionals find useful using the e-mail address you have provided
- We use the information to customize our website according to your interests and preferences
- We will never provide your information in any way, in any form, or for any reason to any third-party entity without your consent

How we use cookies
A cookie is a small, ubiquitous file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's drive via your web browser. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyze web traffic. Cookies enable web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.
We use traffic-log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyze data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to better tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and macro views of visitor behavior.
Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which pages you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you other than that data you choose to share.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of our website by inhibiting use of your personal log-in, order history, shipping tracker, etc.
Consider this: You are our customer. That is quite valuable to us and we don’t take it for granted. We want you to enjoy our website and to come back. So it makes sense that our intent is not to abuse your privacy and your willingness to share some information with us.
Links to other websites
Our website contains links that enable you to visit other websites of interest faster and more easily. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, know that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide when visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. That’s called a CYA. It’s just prudent these days that you exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question. That said, we try to do business only with decent people and companies. So if we link to them, to the very best of our knowledge at least, we’re not sending you on a one-way trip to a Nigerian website manned by Russian hackers.
Controlling your personal information
You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:
- Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes
- If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by e-mailing us at: info@money-education.com
- We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law
If you believe that any information we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, please e-mail us at the above address. We will promptly make the necessary corrections.
