How do I register my textbook / eBook to access the resources?
For Print books:
- Log in to your Money Education account (https://www.money-education.com/login)
- Select “My Books”
- Scroll down and select “Register your book”
- Use the pull-down bar to find and select the specific textbook / edition
- Enter the unique code located on the first page of your book
Note: If the code has already been used, you will be prompted to purchase portal access.
For eBooks:
- From your VitalSource Bookshelf account, open the book you want to register.
- You will see a pop-up box in the top right corner that shows “This item contains an access code. Click here to reveal.” NOTE: You must be logged into the VitalSource website to view the access code. The code will not appear in the Bookshelf app.
- Once selected, you will be provided with a code that you will need to use to register the eBook to your Money Education account.
- Log in to your Money Education account (https://www.money-education.com/login)
- Select “My Books”
- Scroll down and select “Register your book”
- Use the pull-down bar to find and select the specific textbook / edition
- Enter the code that was provided in your Bookshelf account
For Used Books:
- Log in to your Money Education account (https://www.money-education.com/login)
- Select “My Books”
- Scroll down and select “Register your book”
- Use the pull-down bar to find and select the specific textbook / edition
- Enter the unique code located on the first page of your book
- If the code has previously been registered, you will be prompted to purchase portal access
What kind of device do I need to access the digital book?
VitalSource Bookshelf is available for PC, Mac, Apple ipads and iphones, Kindle Fire, and Android tablets and smartphones.

How do I access my digital book?
Money Education’s digital products are provided through VitalSource Bookshelf. Upon completion of your order, your VitalSource Bookshelf link and code were provided to you.
If you did not retain this information, click here: https://bookshelf.vitalsource.com/#/user/forgot
Your VitalSource username is the same email address you used for your Money Education account. Money Education does not have access to your VitalSource account information.
If you forgot your password, you must go to VitalSource directly: https://bookshelf.vitalsource.com/#/user/forgot
You can also go to: https://bookshelf.vitalsource.com/#/user/signin
Click the “Forgot my password” link to change the VitalSource password and log in.
To open your book in Bookshelf on your computer, you first must have a Bookshelf account, and then do the following:
- Download Bookshelf for Mac or PC (http://www.vitalsource.com/downloads)
- Once Bookshelf is installed, launch Bookshelf.
- Sign in with your Bookshelf account email address and password.
- Click on "All Titles" in the collection pane to view all the books in your account.
- Double click on the title to download the book to your computer. Once downloaded, double-click again to open the book.
To open your book in Bookshelf for iOS and Android, you first must have a Bookshelf account, and then do the following:
- Download Bookshelf for iOS or Android. (http://www.vitalsource.com/downloads)
- Once Bookshelf is installed, launch Bookshelf.
- Sign in with your Bookshelf account email address and password.
- Click on "All Titles" in the collection pane to view all the books in your account.
- Tap on the title to download the book to your mobile device. Once downloaded, double-click again to open the book.
To read your book in VitalSource Bookshelf, please do the following:
- Sign in with your Bookshelf account email address and password.
- Click on the name of the title to open the book.

Does my eBook expire?
As long as you download the eBook from your VitalSource Bookshelf to your device, these books will not expire. Viewing the eBook through the VitalSource website (as opposed to your own device / Bookshelf app) will expire one year from the purchase date.
Downloading the eBook to your personal device:
- Log in to your VS Bookshelf account
- Open the book you want to download
- Select the gear icon at the bottom left of the screen
- Scroll to the bottom of the menu and select “Read Offline”
- Follow the prompts to download the eBook to your personal device
Can I print the eBook? Is my eBook a pdf file?
eBooks are provided through VitalSource Bookshelf. These products are not pdf files and cannot be printed. Visit http://support.vitalsource.com for tutorials, password resets, solutions to common questions, and tips and tricks from other VitalSource users.
When I purchase a print textbook, do I also get digital access?
Print and digital textbooks are separate products. We offer print and digital bundles which allows you to purchase both the print and digital book at a discounted price.
How do I return a book / eBook / Portal Access?
Product(s) purchased directly from Money Education must be returned within 30 days from the invoice date. All returned items must still be covered in the original shrink-wrap to receive a refund. Money Education will not issue a credit on any product(s) with broken shrink-wrap.
Shipping charges from the original invoice are nonrefundable. The customer is responsible for paying shipping charges on returned items. Returns should be sent to the address listed.

All returned books must still be covered in the original shrink wrap to receive a refund. Money Education will not issue a refund on any book(s) and/or QuickSheets with broken shrink wrap.
eBooks can be returned within 7 days of purchase date, provided that you have not yet downloaded the textbook or accessed the online resources available.
Portal access is non-refundable.
Please note: Refunds may take 7-10 days business days to show on your statement.
Can I use an older edition for my class?
Money Education recommends using the most current editions of the textbook(s) in ensure you receive the most up-to-date information for your studies. However, if you have an older edition, we suggest having your instructor approve the edition prior to class. (Note: Ancillary materials are available for current editions and one edition prior.)
How do I access the online Practice Portal?
You can access all the available ancillary materials for your book, including the Practice Portal, through your Money Education account.
- Log in to your Money Education account
- Select My Books
- Select the “Go to the Practice Portal” link located under the registered book
